Communities
We are a church of communities.
Communities are how we as a church connect more relationally and intentionally. If you’re new to our church, finding a community closest to where you live is the best way to get connected. Email Rick to join a community.
We strive for our communities to be:
Relational.
Together, we’re trying to figure out how to be human like Jesus was human.
Inter-Generational.
We value being in relationship with people in other phases of life.
Self-giving.
We commit ourselves to the benefit of others in and around our communities.
God has given us so many ways to care for and enrich each other. He has also called us to care for and enrich those near us, especially the disadvantaged and those who are hurting.
The scriptures specifically instruct us to love, honor, accept, harmonize with, agree with, bear with, encourage, teach, forgive, have equal concern for, carry burdens for, pray for, serve, motivate, correct, show compassion to, submit to, and offer hospitality to each other.
We can only do these things well with small groups of people who commit to doing life together throughout the weeks and months of the year. Our communities run in 10 week terms. To learn more about what it looks like to join a community, email Rick.
